When your order is approaching the final stages we will contact you to arrange delivery. This is usually 5-10 days in advance. We will offer you a date and three hour time slot. Deliveries can be any day of the week and can be from 8am to 10pm. If an offered day/time is not suitable we will add you to the next delivery run in your area which may be 1-4  weeks later.

We do our best to stay within the allocated time slot but sometimes traffic delays are unavoidable. We will always contact you as soon as possible  if we are running late.

Deliveries are carried out by our own two person team wherever possible. For further afield areas, busy periods or urgent orders we will also use trusted couriers who may require assistance to move the item(s) into your home.  We will advise you prior to delivery if this will be the case for your order.

If you have specific dates that you require delivery on we recommend using a courier. This will likely increase the delivery cost by 25-100% and courier deliveries are usually a one person service meaning assistance will be required.

We use re-useable packaging as much as possible including bespoke transport covers and table 'socks'. Bubble wrap and shrink wrap are only used for courier deliveries not going via our own delivery team. We really hate to use plastic and avoid it at all costs!

Delivery T'cs and C's

The boring but important stuff:

Delivery is to ground floor level only. Delivery involving any flights of stairs must be arranged in advance and may incur a supplement.

Our team reserve the right to refuse any deliveries that are not deemed safe for them to carry out.

Most of our items are large and heavy and not 'flat pack' furniture. We will not lift furniture over fencing or other obstructions and cannot remove doors to widen spaces.

There must be adequate space to allow for fixed legs tables or very large tables to get to the chosen room and access must be simple and safe. Any other furniture or trip hazards should be moved in advance and floor covers used by the customer to avoid possibly dirty footprints.

There must be sufficient parking close to the property to enable our team to unload and deliver items safely and efficiently.

Our own delivery vehicle is a large and tall Luton type van. There must be adequate space to allow for a large vehicle to access the property.

If there are any parking restrictions we should be made aware of this at the point of order. We will not be able to deliver unless we have any necessary permission or permits which will be the responsibility of the customer to provide.

Our team have a busy delivery schedule and any delays due to access may result in a second delivery being required for which the customer will be required to make payment beforehand. If a customer fails to show for a delivery any repeated deliveries will also be charged for.

Turned leg dining tables come with the legs detached. These screw in on long metal dowels, no tools or instructions required. All other items come fully assembled with fixed legs. Our own delivery team will assemble items at the point of delivery. It is up to any couriers used whether they will do this.

The items must be examined on arrival. If asked for a signature, all items should be fully checked before signing for them. We cannot be responsible for any damage or faults not reported at the point of delivery.

Any delivery dates or timeslots given are estimates only.  While we will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the goods within the time slot agreed we will not be responsible for any losses caused to the customer as a result of late delivery, and are unable to offer compensation if the agreed delivery date is missed or cancelled.

We sometimes use third party delivery companies for outlying areas. Your contact details will be sent onto them to arrange delivery. The delivery companies are responsible for organising the delivery of your goods.

Although we will always attempt to have deliveries made in one consignment, we reserve the right to have goods delivered in more than one consignment, unless otherwise agreed.
